No PFAs or harsh chemicals here! Our Dyma-tex® technology is 100% waterproof thanks to how the knit is engineered, not because of any chemical sprays or coatings.

Vessi shoes don't contain latex, but our gloves have latex in the grip. The midsoles of our shoes are made out of lightweight EVA and outsoles are made of rubber. 

Given how similar the chemical composition of these materials is to latex, those with a latex allergy might find Vessis can cause an unwanted reaction.

Vessi shoes aren't certified as non-slip. That said, all our collections are designed with a rubber Herringbone pattern on the tread to help with traction.

Up to you! Our patented Dyma-tex® knit material is super breathable and soft to the touch, so whether or not you choose to wear socks is personal preference.

That said, wearing socks can help wick moisture and heat away from your feet, which can improve comfort and prevent early wear.

Lucky for you, we carry Tab, Crew, Mid Crew and No Show socks specifically designed for Vessi shoes.

Sure thing! Our insoles are removable to accommodate custom insoles and orthotics.

You get to customize fit, comfort, and support to your liking.

We recommend frequent hand washing for the best results.

1) Gently remove loose dirt using a dry, soft-bristled shoe brush, cloth, or sponge. Remove laces and wash separately by hand in a mixture of warm water and baking soda

2) Spot treat by putting a small amount of baking soda directly on the affected area. Spritz white vinegar on it, or dab it on with a cloth. Using the cloth, gently wipe in circular motions to get into the small grooves of the knit material

3) Rinse the affected area with cold water, and repeat as needed until clean.

4) Air dry your shoes at room temperature, away from direct sunlight or heat source like a radiator

The Alta High Tops, Boardwalk Slip-ons, Market Flats, Pacific Sneaker, Stormburst Low Tops and Weekend collection are our only machine-washable lines. Follow the below steps for the best results:

1) Remove insoles and laces

2) Machine wash cold, not hot

3) Wash on their own and not with other items

4) Do not tumble dry. Vessis are air-dry only

A note on lighter colours: If dirt or mud is left on for too long, it’s more likely to leave a mark. The quicker you can give your Vessis a rinse, the easier it’ll be to keep them looking fresh.

Vessi shoes come in whole sizes only. Our flexible, form-fitting knit conforms to your feet for a personalized fit, even if in between sizes.

We offer half sizes for the Tidal Sneaker, Uptown Chelsea, Pacific Sneaker and the Market Flat.

If you're interested in our other styles, we recommend choosing your most common whole US size.

You bet! Our shoes are unisex with slight width differences between men's and women's sizes.

Men's collections are 1-2 mm wider than women's. So, if you're normally a women's 9, you would be a men's 8 and vice versa.

For those looking for a wider option, we recommend choosing from the men's collection for the best fit.

If you’re a half size, you can size up for a looser fit - or down for a more snug one.

Vessis fit true to size! So, go with your most common US sneaker size.

At this moment, Vessis only come in standard widths. That said, we find that many wider sizes can find the right fit for them because of our extremely stretchy and adaptable upper knit. For our Weekend collection specifically, that one was designed a little wider to begin with, so you might find it works well for you in your normal size.

If you are a wide women's 7.5 or 8 for example, try the men's 7!

Good question! Vessi sizing is a little different than other brands because of how the upper knit stretches and adapts. There's no other direct equivalent, so we recommend going with your most average sneaker size in your closet.

Yes, we do! Simply select the 'Express Shipping' option at checkout, and get ready to receive your brand new Vessis.

Keep in mind, while we do our best to provide the most accurate shipping estimates possible, they are not guaranteed. Shipping times may vary due to high volumes of orders, unforeseen delays on the couriers, and busy holiday seasons. Delivery times also don't include the 1-3 business days for processing your order.

An additional note that quoted timelines are based on business days, not including weekends or Canadian/US holidays.

The prices shown on the website do not include applicable taxes, duties, or shipping fees.

If total order value exceeds $800 USD, and depending on where your shipping location is, your country’s customs office may impose import fees, declaration fees, import duties (tariffs), and/or taxes. For all orders, fees required for customs clearance are the sole responsibility of the customer and may be charged upon arrival.

Update regarding 2025 US tariffs- At this time, we are experiencing some significant delays to some of our order's that are shipping from our Canadian warehouses to US customers. If you find that your order hasn't moved for over 1-2 weeks, please reach out to our support team at support.us@vessi.com. 

We've switched away from Canada Post due to the impending strike and are working with alternative carriers to ship your order.

Are certain locations affected? 

Orders shipping to Canadian PO boxes, military and rural addresses will still be delivered by Canada Post.

We will not be shipping to PO Box, FPO, APO and rural addresses based in the United States at this time.

How will this affect my return?

While some returns have been affected, we have made changes to our couriers to help ensure your return has no issues. You can start your return process here.

When the order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details.

Alternatively, you can visit our Order Tracking page, where you can check the shipping status by providing the order number and email address used, and/or sign up to get SMS updates.

Your Vessis not working out exactly how you hoped they would? No problem. We’re happy to accept returns within 30 days from the delivery date.

Here's how to ensure a smooth return/exchange:

• Your items are unworn, undamaged. All tags must be on apparel and accessories, shoes must be in the original box.
• Returns without the original shoebox (or if damaged) may be charged a $5 reboxing fee.
• Due to sanitary issues laces, face masks, and socks can not be exchanged or returned.
• Free returns/exchanges do not apply to orders outside North America. Shipping fees apply.
• Some shoes marked as final sale may be ineligible for returns or exchanges.
• The shoebox must be clear of tape and additional writing.

Terms and Conditions

• Returns that are worn, stained, altered, or damaged will not be accepted.
• Rejected returns are not eligible for a refund and will not be returned. 
• Requests submitted after 30-day period will not be accepted.
• An exchange request doesn't guarantee the product. If it's unavailable, we'll let you know.
• Returns without original shoebox or damaged packaging may incur an additional $5 restocking fee. Please do not tape or write on box.
• Gift cards and items marked as Final Sale are non-refundable nor exchangeable
• Orders from countries outside North America will be responsible for any additional shipping and duty fees.
• After an exchange is made twice on the same order, the third order will be considered a final sale. This means no returns or exchanges are allowed.

While we pride ourselves on creating long-lasting, high quality products, manufacturing defects can unfortunately occur.  

We want you and your Vessis to be together forever. That's why we’re pleased to offer a 1-year warranty on any shoe defects, and a 6-month warranty on accessory and apparel defects.

We do not, however, cover issues caused by:

• Self-alterations 
• Exposure to harsh chemicals 
• Excessive wear and tear

**Vessi reserves the right to refuse any claims that do not meet our warranty policy requirements.**

Items marked with Final Sale will not be eligible for returns, exchanges or store credit, but are still covered under our limited warranty. This includes shoelaces, face masks, socks, gift cards and Last Chance items.

Certain promotional items may be marked exchange only and are not eligible for returns, but may be exchanged for merchandise or store credit. If the new item is of lesser value, the difference will be returned to you in the form of store credit. If the item is of greater value, you will be responsible for paying the difference in store.

Once our return's team gives us the green light to process your refund or exchange, we'll be sure to send you a follow-up email. Please note our current turnaround time is around 7-10 days from the day we receive your packages. 

For purchases made in store, you can return or exchange your purchases in store only.

Unworn shoe purchases made on ca.vessi.com can be returned or exchanged in store within 30 days. If you have initiated an online return please complete the online return process. If you wish to pivot to an in store return after initiating the process online - please contact our customer care for assistance.

Regular Priced Merchandise

Within 30 days of purchase, you can return eligible items and receive a refund to the original method of payment. You can also exchange eligible items for new products or store credit. To return or exchange, items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, in their original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

Note: Shipping fees and gifts with purchase are non-refundable 

Sale Merchandise

Some sale and discounted items bought in store may be final sale, and will be indicated as such on your receipt. Final sale items are not eligible for returns or exchanges. They are, however, still covered under our warranty policy. Other final sale items include:

• Hosiery/socks 
• Gift Cards

Certain promotional items may be marked <exchange only> and are not eligible for returns, but may be exchanged for merchandise or store credit. If the new item is of lesser value, the difference will be returned to you in the form of store credit. If the item is of greater value, you will be responsible for paying the difference in store.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are final sale and may not be redeemed for cash or refunded unless required by law. All returned items purchased using a gift card will be refunded as merchandise credit back onto a gift card.

Price Match Policy

Purchases made in store or online up to 14 days before the first day of any sale are eligible for price match during a promotional period. We will match the sale price up to 7 days past the end of the promotional period on pre-existing orders made during the sale.

Unfortunately, we are unable to process the return of products purchased from one of our retail partners. Please, reach out to the business where the original purchase was made and they should be able to assist you.

We're aligning with industry standards for our returns and exchange window. We want to help you get the right size, fit, or style as quickly as possible — especially for highly requested colourways and limited edition releases!

• Promotional offer is valid from November 21, 2024, through December 25, 2024, ending at 11:59 PM PT. 
• Gift certificates are redeemable for purchases made between January 6, 2025, and March 16, 2025, on orders of $80 or more, and can only be used at Vessi-owned retail locations and vessi.com. 
• Gift certificates cannot be used to cover shipping fees, or to purchase gift cards. Items purchased with gift certificates are considered final sale and may only be exchanged for other merchandise and not returned for a refund or store credit
• Gift certificates cannot be combined with any existing discount codes, redeemed for cash, used for other gift cards, or refunded. 
• Each gift certificate is single-use only, and the full value must be redeemed in a single transaction. Any remaining balance will be void. 
• The same email address as the original purchase must be used when redeeming the gift certificate. 
• If a refund for an order which provided a gift certificate is issued between November 21, 2024 and December 25, 2024, the gift certificate will be automatically canceled. Any unused gift certificates will be automatically canceled after March 16, 2025.

A pre-order is a product that can be purchased before it arrives at our warehouse. This allows you to reserve a unit and make sure you don't ever miss out.

We will always provide an estimated shipping date for every pre-order item (you'll find it right above the "add to cart" button). While we do our very best to make sure your order is shipped on or before this date, sometimes things can take a little longer than expected due to supply chain issues.

As soon as we have your pre-order in stock and ready to go we'll move it into the processing stage. From there it can take anywhere from 1-5 business days to ship out.

You'll be charged the full price upon placing your order. This is done to secure your reservation
