Note: The Pacific sneakers, Tidal Slip-ons and Tidal sneakers fit half a size small. For a regular fit, we suggest going up half a size from your usual size. If you’ve got wider feet or prefer more of a relaxed fit, we suggest going up a full size from your usual size. For narrow feet, we recommend sticking with your usual size.
The Weekend Neo also run small and narrow. For narrow feet, we recommend sticking with your usual size. For Men looking for more of a regular fit, we suggest going up a full size from your usual size and half a size up for Women. Women with wider feet or women who prefer more of a relaxed fit can also take their usual size and go down 1.5 size in Men's (e.g., Women's 9 - > Men's 7.5)
The Weekend Slip-on runs small and narrow as well. For narrow feet, we recommend sticking with your usual size. For more of a regular Men's and Women's fit, we suggest going up a full size. Women with wider feet or women who prefer more of a relaxed fit can also take their usual size and go down 1 size in Men's (e.g., Women's 9 - > Men's 8)
If you're interested in our other styles that don't come in half sizes, we recommend going half a size up for more of a relaxed fit and half a size down for a snug fit. Our flexible, form-fitting knit conforms to your feet for a personalized fit, even if in between sizes.
If you’re typically a half size and your preferred style doesn't come in half sizes, you can go half a size for a looser fit or down half size for a more snug fit.
Vessi shoes aren't certified as non-slip. That said, all our collections are designed with a rubber Herringbone pattern on the tread to help with traction.

You bet! Vessis with the exception of the Women's Market Flat, Market Mary Jane and Uptown Chelsea are unisex with slight differences in width between men's and women's sizes.
The Men's collections runs about 3 mm wider than women's. So, if you're normally a women's 9 for example, you would be a men's 8 and vice versa.
For those looking for a wider option, we recommend choosing from the Men's collection for the best fit.

At this moment, Vessis only come in standard widths. That said, we find that many people who wear wider or narrower sizes can find the right fit in Vessis because of their stretchy and adaptable uppers. The Weekend Classic and Classic Chelseas are specifically designed a little wider to begin with, so you might find they'll work for you too.
Men's shoes also run about 3 mm wider and have wider ankle openings so if you are a women's wide, try going down half or one full size down in Men's (e.g., Women's 7.5 or 8 - > Men's 7)

No! Vessi socks aren’t waterproof but they’re super comfy and great for everyday wear.
They will! The ankle opening and uppers will be snug when you just get your Vessis. With time and use, they'll give just enough to create a comfy fit for your feet. While they won't stretch that you might need another size, they won't feel tight for long!

We don't carry extra insoles for purchase but Vessi insoles are removable if you'd like to swap them out for another pair you like.
We recommend frequent hand washing for the best results.
1) Gently remove loose dirt using a dry, soft-bristled shoe brush, cloth, or sponge. Remove laces and wash separately by hand in a mixture of warm water and baking soda
2) Spot treat by putting a small amount of baking soda directly on the affected area. Spritz white vinegar on it, or dab it on with a cloth. Using the cloth, gently wipe in circular motions to get into the small grooves of the knit material
3) Rinse the affected area with cold water, and repeat as needed until clean.
4) Air dry your shoes at room temperature, away from direct sunlight or heat source like a radiator

The Alta High Tops, Boardwalk Slip-ons, Classic Chelsea, Market Flats, Pacific Sneaker, Stormburst Low Tops, and Weekend Classic are our only machine-washable styles. Follow the below steps for the best results:
1) Remove insoles and laces
2) Machine wash cold, not hot with a mild detergent
3) Wash on their own and not with other items
4) Do not tumble dry. Vessis are air-dry only
A note on lighter colours: If dirt or mud is left on for too long, it’s more likely to leave a mark. The quicker you can give your Vessis a rinse, the easier it’ll be to keep them looking fresh.
We don’t sell extra Vessi laces, but you can usually find other kinds at your local shoe stores. The great thing is, any laces will work with Vessis.

No PFAs or harsh chemicals here! Our Dyma-tex™ technology is 100% waterproof thanks to how the knit is engineered, not because of any chemical sprays or coatings.
Vessi shoes don't contain latex, but our gloves have latex in the grip. The midsoles of our shoes are made out of lightweight EVA and outsoles are made of rubber.
Given how similar the chemical composition of these materials is to latex, those with a latex allergy might find Vessis can cause an unwanted reaction.
At Vessi, we’re doing our best to make our shoes as good for the planet as they are for your feet. We're constantly evaluating new practices to help lower our carbon footprint.

If its been less than 30 minutes since you placed your order, you can still cancel it! Just log into your Vessi account using the same email you used at checkout. Don't have an account? No problem! You can create one with that email and still access your order.
Once you're logged in, find the order you want to cancel and click it. Then hit the "Cancel" button.
You can also cancel straight from your order confirmation email by clicking "View Order" and then "Cancel."
Heads up: We move fast! If you don’t see the cancel button, it means your order’s already in the works and can’t be canceled anymore.

Pre-Orders
A pre-order is a product that can be purchased before it arrives at our warehouse. This allows you to reserve a unit and make sure you don't ever miss out.
We will always provide an estimated shipping date for every pre-order item (you'll find it right above the "add to cart" button). While we do our very best to make sure your order is shipped on or before this date, sometimes things can take a little longer than expected due to supply chain issues.
As soon as we have your pre-order in stock and ready to go we'll move it into the processing stage. From there it can take anywhere from 1-5 business days to ship out.
You'll be charged the full price upon placing your order. This is done to secure your reservation
Return & Exchanges
Your Vessis not working out exactly how you hoped they would? No problem. We’re happy to accept online returns within 30 from the delivery date
Here's how to ensure a smooth return/exchange:
- Your items are brand new and undamaged. All tags must be on apparel and accessories, shoes must be in the original box.
- Returns without the original shoebox may be charged a $5 reboxing fee.
- Due to sanitary issues socks are final sale can not be exchanged or returned.
- Free returns/exchanges do not apply to orders shipped outside of Canada and the United States. You will be responsible for your own return shipping using a carrier of your choice.
- Products marked as final sale are ineligible for returns or exchanges.

Regular Priced Merchandise
Within 30 days of purchase, you can return eligible items and receive a refund to the original method of payment. You can also exchange eligible items for new products or store credit. To return or exchange, items must be brand new, unaltered, in their original packaging/shoe box, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
Note: Shipping fees and gifts with purchase are non-refundable
Sale Merchandise
Some sale and discounted items bought in-store may be final sale, and will be indicated as such on your receipt. Final sale items are not eligible for returns or exchanges. They are, however, still covered under our warranty policy. Other final sale items include socks and gift cards
Certain promotional items may be marked exchange only and are not eligible for refunds, but may be exchanged for other merchandise or store credit. If the new item is of lesser value, the difference will be returned to you in the form of store credit. If the item is of greater value, you will be responsible for paying the difference.
Gift Cards
Gift cards are final sale and may not be redeemed for cash or refunded. All returned items purchased using a gift card will be refunded as merchandise credit back onto a gift card.
Items marked with Final Sale or with a discount of at least 40% off or more will not be eligible for returns, exchanges or store credit, but are still covered under our limited warranty.
Certain promotional items may be marked exchange only and are not eligible for refunds, but may be exchanged for another size, style, product or store credit. If the new item is of lesser value, the difference will be returned to you in the form of store credit. If the item is of greater value, you will be responsible for paying the difference.

While we pride ourselves on creating long-lasting, high quality products, manufacturing defects can unfortunately occur.
We want you and your Vessis to be together forever. That's why we’re pleased to offer a 1 year warranty on any shoe defects, and a 6 month warranty on accessory, apparel and bag defects.

Our warranty team will review your submission and get back to you within 3-5 business days approximately.
