And the best part is that unlike rain boots, your feet will actually be able to breathe. This is made possible by millions of tiny holes in the membrane layer, which allow water vapour (sweat) to escape while preventing larger water molecules (rain drops) from coming in.
THE OUTER KNIT
The outer knit of a shoe should be flexible and conform to the wearer’s foot. It should be waterproof to keep the wearer’s foot from getting wet in all weather conditions and still be breathable to allow for heat to escape, keeping the feet at a comfortable temperature.
THE CUSHION
The cushion is between the outer knit and the sole of the shoe. It should be made of a comfortable material that does not hold onto smells.
THE SOLE
A lightweight sole helps keep the entire shoe light and easy to move in. Good grip on the bottom of the sole allows the wearer to walk across any surface with ease - including surfaces that may be wet. A good sole combined with a good cushion allows the wearer to be in a shoe all day and have no discomfort.

100% WATERPROOF SHOES?
Yup - and it's not a coating!
We developed a patented knit material with an integrated layer that allows the sweat and heat escape so your feet can breathe, but still keep all the elements out. Puddles beware!
How does it work?
With a million tiny holes in the membrane layer, water in vapour form (sweat) and heat can pass through the tiny holes but water molecules are too large to pass. This means the waterproofing will last the lifespan of your shoes... Unless of course you create a larger hole in the material!
ARE VESSIS ECO-FRIENDLY?
Typical manufacturing processes consume large amounts of energy, water and material trim through processing, dyeing textiles, and cutting. Sometimes animal products are used in raw materials such as glue or accessories which makes the process even less sustainable to the environment.
At Vessi, we wanted to change that.
We recognize the impact that our industry has on the planet. That's why we've developed mindful manufacturing practices to reflect our values. Vessis are 100% Vegan, with each pair made with less in comparison to conventional practices.
And last but not least, we developed our waterproof layer "Dyma-Tex" which is a membrane made from polyurethane with millions of pores small enough to prevent water molecules from entering, and large enough to allow heat and moisture from our feet to escape. This means we achieve a lifelong waterproofing quality without a harmful chemical or coating.

We use water-based adhesives for glue, and our leather and suede are engineered. No animal products found in the places you can see and none in the places you can't!

We want you and your Vessis to be together forever. That's why we stand behind our quality and promise. All Vessis come with a 1 year warranty on any manufacturer defects.
Keep in mind that we don't cover issues caused by modifying, exposing your Vessis to harsh chemicals, or if the defect has been caused by excessive wear and tear.
